We’re beginning our Seattle parks exploration in the northwest corner of Seattle at the Llandover Woods Greenspace. Wading Pool budget cuts (or sponsorships)

The City of Seattle is seeking sponsorships to help keep wading pools open this summer. Unfortunately, I suspect this might become one of the common themes of this website. Cutbacks at all levels of government in the US will trickle down to our parks. See the wading pool sponsorships press release for more details about how you can help keep them open. I’ve been in Seattle for over 9 years, including a few years leaving on the east side and working for you know who. From the moment I first visited Seattle I’ve been constantly surprised and impressed by our parks’ system. I’ve created this site to share my explorations and new finds.
